Five African Lion Cubs Born at the Zoo!

The Birmingham Zoo proudly announces the birth of five African Lion cubs to first-time mom, Akili, and dad, Kwanzaa. While all five cubs are currently off exhibit and experiencing valuable bonding time with their mom, the Zoo invites you to check-in on the newest “royal” family as they grow and progress. This is your very own opportunity to get to know the cubs before they make their public debut! You won’t want to miss a single moment of their journey, so be sure to follow the Zoo on Facebook and check the Zoo’s website often for exclusive updates, videos, photos, news and much more!
